Vintage chair by Wim Rietveld launched in 1953 for the Dutch publisher Gispen.

The solid round steel frame. The seat and back are made of curved birch plywood. The wood and the metal are connected by rubber discs, so the head of the screws is never visible. All the seats and backs have been completely renovated in our workshop.

The model was produced between 1953 and 1970. The 216 model was renamed to the 1245 model in 1959.
